Download ======== Digichem is distributed in binary form only; no source-code for the main program is available (but the core library is `open-source `_). These builds are automatically compiled by Build-boy, the Digichem build server. Build-boy creates builds for the most popular versions of Linux that are used by computational servers. Currently, this includes Fedora-like distros (CentOS/Redhat *etc.*) from version 7 to 9, and Debian like distros from 8 (Jessie) to 12 (bookworm). CentOS 6, sadly, is too old to be supported. If you cluster still uses CentOS/Redhat 6, please consider upgrading. If your cluster does not use a supported distro, please try the ``CentOS-7.9`` build in the first instance, as it is the most widely supported version. We also welcome you to request support for your favourite flavour of Linux by creating an issue for `Build-boy `__. What OS do I have? ------------------ Login to your cluster and execute the following command to determine your operating system version: .. code-block:: console $ cat /etc/*elease On Redhat-7.9 for example, you'll see the following output: .. code-block:: console NAME="Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server" VERSION="7.9 (Maipo)" ID="rhel" ID_LIKE="fedora" VARIANT="Server" VARIANT_ID="server" VERSION_ID="7.9" PRETTY_NAME="Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.9 (Maipo)" ANSI_COLOR="0;31" CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:redhat:enterprise_linux:7.9:GA:server" HOME_URL="https://www.redhat.com/" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugzilla.redhat.com/" REDHAT_BUGZILLA_PRODUCT="Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7" REDHAT_BUGZILLA_PRODUCT_VERSION=7.9 REDHAT_SUPPORT_PRODUCT="Red Hat Enterprise Linux" REDHAT_SUPPORT_PRODUCT_VERSION="7.9" Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.9 (Maipo) Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.9 (Maipo) Stable versions --------------- For general production use, please select the latest stable Digichem version for your cluster's operating system from below: Fedora/CentOS/Redhat ____________________ - Rocky Linux 9: `Download Digichem v|version| `__ - CentOS Stream 8: `Download Digichem v|version| `__ - CentOS 8.5: `Download Digichem v|version| `__ - CentOS 7.9: `Download Digichem v|version| `__ Debian/Ubuntu ____________________ - Debian Bookworm (12): `Download Digichem v|version| `__ - Debian Bullseye (11): `Download Digichem v|version| `__ - Debian Buster (10): `Download Digichem v|version| `__ - Debian Stretch (9): `Download Digichem v|version| `__ - Debian Jessie (8): `Download Digichem v|version| `__ Development versions -------------------- For the adventurous, nightly builds of the latest development version of Digichem are available directly from `Build-boy `_.
